Terms of Service

Draft v0.1 · 2026-09-12 · Not yet in force. The final text will name the provider (a sole trader registered in Lithuania), the price shown at checkout and the effective date, and will be reviewed by a lawyer before the first subscription is sold.

1. What Planas is

Planas is a study-planning app. It reads the courses, deadlines and materials you already have access to on your school's Moodle site, shows them in one place, notices new material, and builds a short daily study plan for your upcoming tests and exams. Planas is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Moodle Pty Ltd or your school. "Moodle" is a trademark of Moodle Pty Ltd.

2. Who may use it

You may use Planas if you are a student with your own Moodle account. If you are younger than the age at which you can consent to online services in your country (14 in Lithuania; 13 to 16 elsewhere in the EU), a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you, and we will ask for their e-mail address when you sign up. A parent or guardian who signs up on behalf of a child accepts these terms on the child's behalf.

3. Your Moodle account stays yours

Planas never asks for, sees or stores your Moodle password. It works either through the browser you are already logged into (our extension reads the pages and data your own browser can see) or through the access token your Moodle site issues for its official mobile app. You are responsible for following your school's rules on the use of its systems; if your school does not allow tools like Planas, do not connect it. We never act in your name on Moodle: Planas does not submit assignments, sit quizzes, post in forums or send messages.

4. No promise about your grades

Planas helps you plan and revise. It does not guarantee any result. Grades depend on you, your teachers and your school. The "estimated grade", "coverage" and "time saved" figures are estimates computed from how much of the likely material fits into the minutes you choose; they are not predictions, not advice from your teacher and not a substitute for the syllabus. Study content built from your material may contain errors or omissions, including when the optional fact-checker is switched on; check anything that matters against your teacher's material. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for grades, exam outcomes, admissions or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Planas.

5. Your material and our content

Course materials remain the property of your school and teachers (or their licensors). Planas processes them for your personal, private study only; where processing runs on your own device, copies stay on your device. You may not use Planas to redistribute course materials. The study content Planas produces for you is yours to use for your own studies; the software, design and text of Planas remain ours.

6. Trial, subscription, cancellation

• The free trial lasts 7 days and includes every feature of the paid plan. One trial per person. A payment method is required to start it; you will not be charged before the trial ends, and we send a reminder before the first charge.
• A paid subscription for a student under 18 is bought and held by a parent or guardian (the adult payer), who accepts these terms; the student uses the app under that subscription.
• After the trial the subscription renews automatically at the price shown at checkout (tax included) until you cancel. The order button says what you commit to ("Subscribe and pay"), and you receive a confirmation e-mail. Cancel any time with the "Cancel subscription" function in the app or through the payment provider's portal; the subscription then ends at the close of the paid period.
• Payments are handled by our merchant of record (named at checkout), which issues the invoice and handles taxes. We never see your card number.
• Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): you may withdraw within 14 days of the first payment without giving a reason. Because the service starts immediately, you expressly agree when subscribing that we may begin performance during the withdrawal period and that, if you withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the days used. The free tier needs no payment and can be stopped at any time.

7. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other people's accounts, overload your school's systems, share your account, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to cheat (Planas is a planning tool, not an exam aid). We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or that a school reports as misused.

8. Availability and changes

Planas is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but free-tier infrastructure, your school's Moodle configuration and browser changes can interrupt it. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the paid service we refund the unused part of the current period. We will tell you about material changes to these terms by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days in advance.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for intent, gross negligence, or death and personal injury). Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims in a subscription year is limited to the amount you paid us in that year. Consumer rights under the law of your country of residence, including Lithuanian and EU consumer protection law, are not affected.

10. Law and disputes

Lithuanian law applies, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live. Disputes go first to us (the bug-and-feedback button or the e-mail in the app); EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform or the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority.
